BugAt three months of age, Bug adopted his Mom after his breeder decided he couldn’t be a show dog because he didn’t hold my tail up like a winning Japanese Chin.

He’s entertained patients, staff, and families at University of New Mexico Hospital (General Pediatric Unit, Child Life Unit, and now the ICU) and the VA with his dancing (the Chin spin) over the last eight years. Teen-age boys appreciate him as “a chick magnet.”

He is a character (with his own name) in his Mom’s thriller books.

Fun Fact:  When Bug was five months old, he fell in love with a white ball of buzz, but the romance wasn’t to be. How could he know the fuzz would turn into a mean cat called Scarlett?
